Keep your dog active, strong, and healthy with our specialized Canine Conditioning & Fitness programs. Whether your dog is a competitive athlete, a playful puppy, or a beloved senior, we offer tailored sessions to meet their unique needs. All of these sessions are scheduled with our Certified Canine Strengthening and Conditioning Coach. 

We believe that consistent training is key. Your dog will be sent home with exercises to practice 3-5 times a week, and we’ll evaluate their progress monthly to adjust their routine as they grow stronger.

Note: For dogs with a history of injuries or surgeries, a referral from your veterinarian specifically for conditioning & fitness is required. Please note that these sessions are for fitness and are not considered rehabilitation. All paperwork should be filled out prior to your dog’s first session.

Initial Conditioning & Fitness Session: $65

The initial session is where it all begins. The first 45 minutes are dedicated to a thorough posture evaluation and a detailed discussion of your dog’s history and goals. The remaining 15 minutes are used to introduce basic foundational fitness exercises or familiarize your dog with our equipment. FitPaws to purchase at home recommended exercises products. 

Follow-Up Sessions: 30 min sessions $40, 1 hour sessions $85

Weekly Sessions: Perfect for owners who want more hands-on guidance. These sessions provide the consistency and direction needed to help your dog progress safely and effectively.

Bi-weekly or Monthly Sessions: This is our most popular option. Dogs come in for a session, get new exercises to work on at home, and return for a monthly re-evaluation to track their progress and update their routine.

Combo Session (1 hour): Get the best of both worlds with a 30-minute swim or underwater treadmill (based on availability) session combined with 30 minutes of land-based exercises. This is a great choice for dogs who need more than a standard swim.

Special Programs

  • Puppy Sessions: Build a strong foundation from the start! We offer sessions for pre-sporting puppies to work on limb awareness and confidence, as well as for pet puppies to learn basic obedience and “puppy party tricks.”
  • Geriatric Sessions: Keep your senior companion comfortable and active. For post-sporting dogs, we focus on maintaining muscle mass. For weaker pet dogs, we start with gentle basics, using equipment found in a home setting to build strength slowly and safely.

Sport-Specific Conditioning

We offer targeted training to help your dog excel in their sport and prevent injury.

  • Agility: Focus on strengthening jumps and improving limb awareness.
  • Dock Diving: Build powerful hind limbs and cardiovascular strength for those short, explosive bursts.
  • Conformation: An overall body workout to keep your dog toned and show-ready.
  • FastCat: Use our land treadmill to build cardiovascular strength and prevent injuries from high-impact activity.

Other Conditioning & Fitness Sessions

  • Injury Prevention: A full-body exercise routine designed to keep working and sporting dogs at their peak, with a special focus on common injury areas like the iliopsoas muscle.
  • Weight Loss: A comprehensive program that combines calorie-burning conditioning swims and land-based treadmill work with easy at-home exercises to help your dog lose weight while building muscle.
  • “Party Tricks”: Teach your pet some fun and impressive tricks to show off!
