Introduction to the Pool: $90
Our new pet introduction to the pool session is an informative session that last roughly one hour. We value taking extra time to get to know you and your pet. During this session we will discuss your dog's medical/mobility history, swim history, daily diet, and your goals in starting a swim program. During this session you will learn about our pools and how your pet's future sessions may look. A gradual introduction to the pool will occur based on your pets' abilities and swim experience. Large quantities of water in a pool setting can be a very scary experience for new swimmers. Our goal in this session is to introduce your pet with comfort and ease in a safe environment.
- Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time
- Ensure you dog has ample time to use the bathroom prior to their session
- Ensure your dog has had a recent bath, brush, and nail trim

- Bring your pet’s favorite swim toy or snacks (no heavy meals within 2-3 hours each session)

- We recommend consulting with your Veterinarian prior to beginning any swim program.

Hydrotherapy for canines is a form of therapeutic exercise carried out in warm water. We offer TWO hydrotherapy pools that will allow the buoyancy and resistance to improve physiological function. The effects of water allow re-mobilization of joints which may not be possible when weight bearing out of water. This form of exercise is excellent for dogs that have arthritic pain, weakness, or neurological disabilities or dogs that just love water and/or need a challenge in muscle strengthening and weight loss. Hydrotherapy can also increase cardiovascular training, reduce edema, swelling and discomfort.
